Roadkill Immortal

October 28, 2010

Photographer Andrew Bruce takes his love for animals to different level by showing you things that would normally make you turn away. In this instance though, he has created peaceful, somber scenes that cause you to think about the passing and temporal nature of life that we often choose to ignore.

He says of his process via My Modern Met
In pushing though this fear, I have at times felt truly privileged to have seen and touched such animals. These are some of the most incredible, beautiful animals, and I am saddened when I fined them left to rot on the roadside. The animals that I find are those that just don’t fit into humans’ modern way of life – they are animals that we feel we have no use for, and there is little respect given to them or their habitats. Looking at my photographs, I hope people can begin to appreciate the beauty of these animals.”
