Alphabet City

December 30, 2009

Check out the great detail in these 26 alphabet dream houses created by draftsman Scott Teplin.

“Explore in each a bizarre, miniaturized constellation of bed rooms, drawing rooms, fantasy swimming pools, mysterious laboratories, personal ice cream parlors, gambling halls, nuclear reactors, and oozing phenomena of unknown consequence.”

My favorite (truth be told) is the letter U. Follow this link…Alphabet City and click on each letter to see a cool miniaturized world. Great.

Ciao.

that is SO cool! i’ve never even heard of anything like this before…and yet, somehow it totally makes sense to have your house be made in the shape of a letter…thanks for posting 🙂

I like S. Nice and sequential. I think life should be ordered like that!

Fun drawings, thanks for sharing! — my first name starts with the letter J, so I carefully examined the J-themed house. The sun-roofed entries on either side are pretty cool, and I like that chimney on the base of the letter. The best, however, is the creepy gerbil-rabbit animal tethered to the outside of the house. Hopefully it is house-trained… not that it would really fit inside.
