Little People Project
UK artist Slinkachu started his Little People Project way back in 2006 by taking miniature train set characters, remodeling and painting them, and then leaving them around the city to fend for themselves.
“The scenes I set up, more evident through the photography, and the titles I give these scenes aim to reflect the loneliness and melancholy of living in a big city, almost being lost and overwhelmed. But underneath this, there is always some humour. I want people to be able to empathise with the tiny people in my works.”

really cool !
I’ve always hoped that the Borrowers really exist and this gives me hope π jk. But it really is cool and so adorable.
I think thats a good project
Awesome project and photos. I love the guy sitting on a brick danging his legs in the crack.
Size is relitive. Standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon or looking down from an airplane makes you realize you’re about that big.
contemplation, romance and disaster…really captures the feel of life
wow very nice , this is the real creativity , best of luck π
This is a fantastic project. It seems very realistic. I mean, everyone is taking on the big world and taking on the even bigger challenges that trail along with it!
It may seem strange, but it’s very sweet!!
It would be amazing to see one of these “little people” while I was taking a walk in the park!!
Best of luck!
Cool art. I hope he creates more.
stuck with the info “then leaves them out to fend for themselves.”
