Buried at Sea

This is a song sample and cover from the album “You can’t win” by “Dolorean“. I wanted to share this song because I was curious about the title of this particular track (33-53.9 N/118-38.8 W) which I assume is longitude and latitudinal coordinates. It turns out the those coordinates are the exact spot where Dennis Wilson was buried at sea. Dennis Wilson (if you don’t know) is the brother of Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys and was also in the band for a spell before unsuccessfully going solo in 1969. He also happens to be (some say) the most talented of the boys writing a few of their most successful hits with little recognition. He died from an alcohol related drowning in California in 1983. Give the song a listen, it’s haunting and truly beautiful.

Ciao.

great song…moody and harmonious. Reminds me a little of Lindsey Buckingham’s “DW suite”
